kitchen | before & after

Since you’ve all been along our remodel journey with me – and the sun has *finally* come out – it’s time to share a before and some afters of our kitchen!

The before, taken during our househunting trip:

We would likely have just made a few changes and left the kitchen as-is, if it wasn’t for the ridiculously-placed island. Nothing like a big box in the middle of your workspace.

And after the Russo-ification:

We’re contemplating a few other changes – perhaps some uppers (upper cabinets) above the refrigerator section – just to add some vertical interest – but…quite a change, eh?

The computer space that is in the kitchen, is that just a small work space for homework or do you use it ask you office?

    Berta – lol!!

Susan – It’s just a small workspace, but it’s my office now – right in the thick of things. We all use that computer.

Your kitchen looks awesome! I love all the details you put into it. If I could only get my husband on the same page that our kitchen is not “good enough”.

Did you paint the side of the refrigerator or is that a new one?
I’m guessing you painted it because black is a harsh color.
Let me know if I’m right or wrong???!!!!

    Looks great!!
