This absolutely perfect little bird's nest was the hub of much activity around my house one summer. The birds had nested just underneath our deck, and it was filled with tiny little eggs. All the neighborhood children would visit just to peer down through the slats of our deck to check on the activity. I, myself, climbed up under the deck (staying a respectable distance, of course!), to try and photograph the action.
Imagine my surprise this Spring - after a big windstorm - when my husband presented me with this perfect bird's nest, which had fallen out from its' perch. I was sad at first, until he assured me that birds never nest in the same location and wouldn't miss it. I have to give these particular birds an A+ in construction and symmetry!
