Fun fact: I grew up on a horse farm, and spent my childhood in gymkhanas and rodeos. While I don't own horses now (my parents still do), I will always feel a kinship with these loyal, magnificent animals. Now living in Texas I am happily surrounded by horses. This photograph is of the most lovely dappled grey quarter horse I've seen in quite some time. I managed to catch her on a day with dreamy soft lighting and a perfect wind blowing her mane.
