I have to admit a bit of an obsession with Central Park. The history, the amazing stories behind the buildings, the carvings. Bethesda Terrace is considered the heart of Central Park, with a sweeping promenade leading to a terrace overlooking the lake. This photograph features the tunnel beneath Bethesda Terrace. When photographed in just the right morning light, the archways and steps appear to glow, don't they?
